Event Details

πŸ–ΌοΈ The Broad πŸ“ 221 S Grand Ave, Downtown Los Angeles πŸ“… Open Wed–Mon (closed Tuesdays) πŸ’° Free general admission One of the most important contemporary art museums in the world and it's completely free. The Broad houses over 2,000 works by artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jeff Koons, Yayoi Kusama, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Cindy Sherman, and Takashi Murakami. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece β€” a honeycomb-like "veil and vault" design by Diller Scofidio + Renfro that's become an iconic part of the DTLA skyline. The Infinity Mirror Rooms by Yayoi Kusama are worth the trip alone β€” immersive installations that make you feel like you're floating in infinite space. Free timed-entry tickets are available online and go fast, so book ahead. The third floor galleries are stunning with natural light flooding in. The museum shop has incredible art books and prints. Located on Grand Avenue next to Walt Disney Concert Hall, making it easy to combine with other cultural stops. This is world-class art, zero admission cost. No excuses.
