Your data is stored securely on AWS (Amazon Web Services) in the United States. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
The following section applies specifically to the Skin Analyzer feature within Pop Up LA.
When you use the Skin Analyzer feature, your device's front-facing camera captures a live image of your face during an active scan session. From that image, the following facial metrics are extracted: skin texture, pore size, skin tone, wrinkle depth, oiliness, moisture levels, redness, radiance, dark circles, and surface texture measurements. No photographs are saved to your device or our servers.
Facial data is collected in real time through your device's front-facing camera only during an active scan session. Collection occurs only while the scanner is open and active. No photos are saved locally. No images are stored by this app. Users must provide explicit consent via an in-app Consent & Privacy Statement before any facial scanning begins.
Your facial metrics are used for one purpose only: to produce your personalized skin health report displayed within the app. When you rescan, your previous metrics are compared to provide progress updates. Your data is never used for AI model training, advertising targeting, user profiling, marketing, or any other secondary purpose.
Your facial metrics are transmitted via encrypted HTTPS connection to Perfect Corp (perfectcorp.com), a third-party AI service that performs the skin analysis. Perfect Corp processes this data solely to generate your scan results. No other third party receives your facial data. Perfect Corp is contractually bound to handle your facial metrics with the same or equivalent level of privacy protection required by Apple's guidelines and applicable law. Their data practices are governed by their Privacy Policy at perfectcorp.com/privacy-policy.
Facial metrics are transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to Perfect Corp's secure servers for real-time processing. This app does not store facial data locally or on any server operated by Muzzy Games LLC. Perfect Corp processes the data in real time and returns results to the app.
All facial scan data is automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours of your session. We do not retain any facial data beyond that period under any circumstances. There is no long-term storage of facial metrics.
Your facial metrics are never linked to your name, Apple ID, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier. No biometric identity profile is created or stored. The data transmitted cannot be used to identify you as an individual. Facial data is completely anonymized and cannot be reverse-engineered to identify any user.
Your facial metrics are never sold, rented, licensed, or shared for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes. Data is shared exclusively with Perfect Corp for the sole purpose of generating your skin analysis report.
Users must explicitly consent to facial data collection before any scan begins. A full Consent & Privacy Statement is presented in-app and must be accepted before the camera activates. You may withdraw consent at any time by closing the scanner. Once closed, no further facial data is captured or transmitted.
Our apps are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
